Past Future Tense merupakan kalimat untuk menyatakan kejadian atau peristiwa yang akan dilakukan yang terjadi di masa lalu.

RUMUS :

(+)  : S + would + V-1

         S + was/were + going to + V-1

(-)   : S + would not + V-1

         S + was/were not + going to + V-1

(?)   : Would + S + V-1 ?

         Was/were + S + going to + V-1 ?

CONTOH:

(+)  : He would buy me a flower

         We were going to visit our grandmother in the hospital

(-)   : He would not buy me a flower

         We were not going to visit our grandmother in the hospital

(?)   : Would he buy me a flower ?

         Were we going to visit our grandmother in the hospital?
